Former volunteers claimed Kimi Peck would 'cry' that certain sick dogs could not get the veterinary services they desperately needed because she did not have enough money. The lack of funds for veterinary services meant that many dogs suffered from neglect and untreated illnesses. This did not stop Kimi Peck from using the lack of funds from Chihuahua Rescue's bank account to fill her office with junk she purchased from Target, Walmart and other stores.
